Plenty More To Come From The Mighty Miget

Jon Armstrong believes the best is yet to come from him as he hopes to fire the Wildcats to Conference League glory. The Mighty Midget' has so far chalked up 55 paid two points in five meetings for the Radipole Lane outfit, an average of 10.5, but is confident he can improve on those figures. He said: "I've been fairly happy with my form so far but there is still more to come from me, I'm disappointed I've not had a maximum ride yet."

Cats Out Of Luck

Jem Dicken and his Wildcats were left "gutted" after last night's narrow Conference League defeat at the hands of league leaders the Scunthorpe Saints. Jon Armstrong put in a tremendous effort to claim 16 paid one points for the Wildcats but an "abundance" of bad luck in their opening meeting of the 2008 league campaign left team manager Dicken reflecting on what might have been.

Champion Test

Tim Webster is surprised by the good start he has made to his Weymouth career and is hoping to continue that form in the Wildcats' opening Conference League fixture at Scunthorpe tonight (7.15pm). Weymouth face a daunting task this evening at the reigning champions but Webster and his team-mates will be out to cause an upset. Webster joined the Radipole Lane outfit from the Plymouth Devils in the close season and has made an immediate impact with 36 paid two points from four Wildcat meetings this year.
