BUS ROUTES |
Buses from the
town centre
leave from the
rear of Debenhams
in Commercial
Road (the road
with the railway
lines in it).
Probably the
easiest is to
get the Hereford
Road service
(number 3).
Ask the driver
to set you down
at Hereford
Road. The stop
is just around
the corner from
Hereford Road
and is actually
in Radipole
Lane so it is
very straightforward
to find the
Stadium from
there. Just
walk straight
back in the
opposite direction
to the bus,
go down the
hill and you
will see the
stadium at the
bottom of the
hill over to
the left. It
is about 10
minutes easy
walking time.
Going back you
catch the bus
at exactly the
same stop on
the same side
of the road
(it is a circular
route).
Buses leave
Debenhams at
1805, 1835 and
1905. They leave
the Hereford
Road stop at
2117, 2147,
2217 and 2247.
Journey time
is about 10
minutes in each
direction.
Service number
5 to Radipole
and Southill
goes closer
to the stadium
but the last
one leaves Debenhams
at 1750. Ask
to be set down
at the western
end of Chafeys
Avenue, walk
along the last
part of Chafeys
Avenue and turn
left into Radipole
Lane. The stadium
is off the roundabout
some 100 yards
along Radipole
Lane. However
there is no
later return
service on this
route. |
