Jon Armstrong : Grade 11

The Wildcats new number 1, is 34-year-old Jon Armstrong, the ‘Mighty Midget’ hails from Manchester and arrives at the Wessex Stadium seventeen years after making his debut for local club; Belle Vue. He has spent most of his career riding in the Premier and Conference leagues, with his best season at Graham Drury’s Mildenhall in 2006. Last season was tough for gritty Mancunian where he had a short spell at the newly-formed Birmingham Brummies alongside ex-Wildcat Lee Smart. He is looking this year to take the league by storm and lead Weymouth to the league title.
